Preservation Policy

ACE Journal of Neurosciences (ACEJN) is committed to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content. The journal implements digital preservation practices to ensure that published articles remain permanently available to the global research community, even in the event of technological changes or website interruptions.

Digital Object Identifier (DOI)

Every published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), providing a permanent and persistent link to the article. The DOI ensures reliable citation, easy retrieval, and long-term accessibility regardless of changes to the journal's website or article location.

Digital Publication Formats

To maximize accessibility and long-term preservation, published articles are made available in standardized digital formats, including:

  • PDF (Portable Document Format)
  • XML (Extensible Markup Language), where applicable

These formats support indexing, archiving, interoperability, and long-term digital preservation.

Digital Archiving

ACEJN maintains secure electronic archives of all published content to safeguard against accidental loss, corruption, or system failure. Regular backups and preservation procedures are implemented to ensure the continued availability and integrity of journal content.

Repository Archiving

Published articles may be deposited in recognized digital repositories and archiving services to ensure permanent accessibility and preservation. Where applicable, journal content may also be archived through institutional repositories and other trusted preservation platforms.

Internet Archive

To further enhance long-term preservation, published content and journal webpages may be archived through the Internet Archive (Archive.org), providing an additional layer of permanent public access and historical preservation.

Website Preservation

The journal maintains routine backups of its website, databases, and published content. These backups help ensure business continuity and enable rapid recovery in the event of technical failures or unforeseen disruptions.

Commitment to Long-Term Access

ACEJN is dedicated to preserving the scholarly record by ensuring that all published articles remain authentic, accessible, citable, and permanently available to researchers, healthcare professionals, and the public.
