Guide for Authors

ACE Journal of Neurosciences (ACEJN) welcomes the submission of original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of neuroscience and related disciplines. Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below to facilitate a smooth review and publication process.

Types of Manuscripts

ACEJN accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles

Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare their manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format using clear and professional English. The manuscript should include:

  • Title of the manuscript
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Corresponding author's name and email address
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Main text
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • Funding information
  • Conflict of Interest Statement
  • References

Figures and tables should be clearly numbered, appropriately titled, and cited within the text.

Reference Style

All references should be prepared according to the MLA citation style. Authors are encouraged to provide the DOI for each reference whenever available. If a DOI is not available, a direct URL to the source should be included where applicable.

Ethical Requirements

Authors must ensure that:

  • The submitted work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • All listed authors have approved the manuscript prior to submission.
  • Research involving human participants or animals has received appropriate ethical approval.
  • Informed consent has been obtained where required.
  • Any conflicts of interest are fully disclosed.
  • Sources of financial support are acknowledged.

Plagiarism Policy

ACEJN has a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and research misconduct. Authors are encouraged to submit a plagiarism report generated using Turnitin or equivalent similarity detection software before submission. Manuscripts with unacceptable levels of similarity may be rejected without peer review.

Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by a rigorous peer-review process. Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific quality, originality, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Article Processing Charges

ACEJN operates as an open-access journal. An Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 300 is applicable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. There is no submission fee.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright of their published work while granting ACEJN the right to publish, archive, and disseminate the article in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policies.
